Seeing as how I have no other better options to post right now, I think I'll just go off of the current tangent I'm on already.
#5 Scream
I actually got tricked into watching this movie. I'd like to give a kudos to my middle school friend Nick, who told me that the movie was a comedy. Of course I was skeptical, but of course I was also curious...but I did leave the room when he decided to repeatedly rewind the 'garage door' scene....messed up stuff.
#4 Alien
Theatrical Trailer
The Famous Scene
#3 Jaws
The only reason I watched this movie in Elementary School is because one of my friends was throwing a sleepover party and was planning to watch the film. My parents, aware of the graphic nature, wanted to show me the movie before hand so I wouldn't start freaking out at the party.
I got to the point where the guy on the red sailboat gets attacked, then you see his leg float through the water.
I did watch this movie fully for Senior Year of Highschool in Oceanography however, and I will say it is an excellent film now that I'm not a pansy.
#2 Freddy vs. Jason
Again, Nick-thank you so much for thinking I could handle this movie. I got in about 10 minutes before almost throwing up my liver.
#1 The Last Starfighter
Now this is the film that randomly came into conversation last weekend. I've never seen the whole thing and I didn't exactly know the plot until I watched the trailer 5 minutes ago. My dad is a huge science-fiction fan and brought the movie home for a family movie when I was probably around 7 or 8.
However I ruined it by crying after a gigantic laser slowly erased a man from head down while he screamed.
I'm sure I could watch all of these movies today and not be affected---I personally thought "Stephen King's IT" was absolutely hilarious when I watched it a few years back---but these 5 movies will forever remain in my head as the Top 5 Movies That Scared The Sh@! Out of Me as a Child.
